Where would you like to go in Ireland? From the mysterious Giants Causeway on the Co Antrim coast in Northern Ireland to the breath taking Ring of Kerry, from Dublins fair City to the city of the tribes in Galway. We will show you history going back over 1000 Million years. Our place names point back in time to our earliest inhabitants and ancient tribes - places like the Hill of Tara and Brú Na Bóinne (Newgrange) in the Boyne valley, County Meath, or Poulnabrone in the Burren, County Clare. Take our Great Western Tour through counties Clare, Galway (Connemara) Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal, or Take the Border, Midlands and Western route. From the Fermanagh Lakelands to the Hills of Clare and beyond to the rugged, romantic Aran Islands, stopping en route in Co Roscommon the ancient homeland of great Gaelic families and renowned Presidents of Ireland.
Marvel at the steep timeless cliffs of North Mayo at a height of three hundred and four meters (304m) in places - that's over a thousand feet! - they equal in beauty and awe the Cliffs of Moher. You may have heard of Granuaile (Grace O Malley) the famous pirate queen from Clare Island, co Mayo, but as you drive towards Co Sligo there is the legends of another famous queen from an eariler time - Queen Maeve of Connacht - whose prominent resting place is on top of Knocknarea mountain overlooking Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery and the town of Sligo. There is then the magnificent sea cliffs of Sliabh League in Co Donegal, towering in majestic splendour as graceful as the beautiful sea cliffs of Achill Island in Co Mayo. Glencolumcille, Glenties, Dungloe, Gortahork, Fanad head and Inishowen in co Donegal takes you in to Lovely Derry on the banks of the Foyle and onwards to Belfast City where the famous ocean liner - The Titanic - was built. So perhaps it is here that you may wonder how can we link the Titanic story to Belfast, Cork and Mayo.
